Today, June 24th, is Cousins Day.  So I thought I’d revisit a conversation I had with my cousin, Tara.  Tara is the only female to complete more than 7 seasons of Black Marlin fishing on the Great Barrier Reef.

Tara and I have only met in person once, when we were both 3. But through the magic of Facebook we’ve gotten to know each other. She’s even shared our Korean grandmother’s recipes for kimchi and a family favorite we call “hot meat.” Tara was lucky enough to spend quality time with Grandma Sue, whom I only met a half a dozen times.

I love following her adventures as she travels the globe. She’s pretty groovy, as you will learn by listening to our January 2014 podcast interview:

You sound kinda fun in your podcast. ha ha. My wife liked it. You could have uploaded some pictures of you while talking with each other in the video.

Thanks Steve! We were talking via Skype. Tara was in Australia and I was in Texas. ๐Ÿ™‚
